What’s Happening!

A Week of Fun and Learning!

At Little Monsters Daycare, every activity is designed to engage young minds, encourage creativity, and support early development. This past week, our little learners explored a variety of activities that stimulated their senses, enhanced their coordination, and strengthened their foundational skills.

Infants: A Sensory Adventure

Our youngest little monsters had an exciting time exploring watercolors and tactile stimulation. They dove into a slippery, wobbly experience with Jello, discovering its squishy texture and the way it moves in their hands. This type of sensory play is not only fun but also helps build early cognitive connections, fine motor skills, and curiosity about the world around them.

Toddlers (1’s & 2’s): Developing Coordination & Creativity

For our energetic one- and two-year-olds, the focus was on hand-eye coordination through creative expression. Moving crayons across paper may seem simple, but it plays a crucial role in developing visual perception, fine motor skills, and early creativity. As they scribbled and explored different colors, they built confidence in their abilities and strengthened their foundation for future writing skills.

Pre-K: Learning Through Circle Time

Our Pre-K class gathered together for a structured and engaging circle time. This special time of the day helps children practice the days of the week, months, and storytelling sessions. Beyond just learning these concepts, circle time supports language development, emotional growth, and the ability to focus and listen. It’s a beautiful way for children to bond, learn, and prepare for their next big step—kindergarten!

At Little Monsters Daycare, every moment is a learning opportunity. Whether it’s sensory play, fine motor activities, or group learning experiences, we are committed to helping each child grow, explore, and thrive. Stay tuned for more exciting updates from our little learners!
